Meet Lexi, our Dental Assistant!
Lexi is compassionate, determined and empathetic! Lexi has a passion for dentistry and her personality brightens up the office. She grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska and going to be a wonderful dentist in just a few years. Lexi starts dental school this August at UNMC College of Dentistry here in Lincoln. Her typical day, outside of Steckelberg Dental, includes studying, working out, eating and Netflix. One big goal that she has for the next year is to just make it through D1 year of dental school. (She is going to do great, says Dr. Steckelberg!)
Lexi is the middle child between two sisters, one is 3 years older and one is 3 years younger than her. Both of her sisters live in Overland Park, Kansas, but Lexi has lived in Lincoln since 2000. She enjoys living in the same town as her parents, so she can visit them whenever she wants to.
In her spare time, Lexi enjoys going to concerts and sporting events, going to the lake and trying new food. She is happiest being outside, when not working. Before she dies, Lexi has a goal to travel the world. If she could be anywhere other than here, right this minute, she would love to be in Hawaii. Lexi loves to read books by Nicholas Sparks and Jodi Piccoult.
If she flashed back to 10 years old, Lexi wanted to be a meteorologist when she grew up. Recently she encouraged us to all go home quickly, as a big storm was approaching. This was much appreciated, as we all got home before it got bad outside. Make sure to say welcome Lexi the next time you are in the office!
